Why homemade food is worth considering for your Dog

Most dog owners might not be interested in making homemade dog food, but you know what? You have to try it at least once, and your dog will love it. If you’re still concerned, here are some tips that might change your mind:

You can avoid ingredients that your dog is allergic to,

Every dog is sensitive to some ingredient, so you get to know what you have to add and what you have to avoid. You can simply avoid the ingredient that your dog is not a fan of. The choice is in your own hands.

You know what’s in your Dog’s food,

You’re the chef for your dog’s heavenly meal, so you get to know what’s in it. Unlike other dry dog foods, even though we trust these dog food companies, we cannot assure that what they’re adding is entirely organic. This way, homemade dog food helps you choose what’s best for your dog.

You can add Supplements to help your Dog have a Balanced Meal.

Before adding supplements to your dog’s food, make sure you explain to the VET what are your ingredients and let them tell you what’s the best supplement for that particular recipe so that you can make sure it’s appropriately balanced. Also, adding supplements can help you cover any gaps which are leftover on the nutritional side.

Side note: if you’re looking for a perfect crockpot, I recommend you to check out the Crock-Pot SCCPVL600S (6-quart capacity) for its $26.99 price range. It has some fancy features like defrosting, LCD screen, temperature control, and some more. And this is the one I use. It can prepare meals for a full 2 weeks, which is far more than enough for me.

Every dog deserves a good meal. Some of you may not be interested in these kinds of ideas, but spending that 10 to 15 mins to prep a meal for about a week or less means a lot for you and your dog. While your dog gets a delicious and healthy meal, you can save your money and time.

Keep this in your mind. If your dog gets used to this homemade dog food, it will never or ever go back to dry food.

And that’s it. Thank you so much for passing by, and I hope you’ll make a good decision, until then Goodbye!!
